Who is entitled to RSI and how can they receive it?

Social Insertion Income (RSI) is a financial social support that helps people and families in situations of extreme poverty.

Support is provided through a cash benefit, as well as through an insertion program to help with social and professional integration.

The goal is to ensure the minimum conditions for subsistence and promote inclusion.

But who is entitled to support?

Any individual or family in need of support in order to improve their social and professional integration, or informal caregivers to members of their respective household.

For those who live alone, the sum of monthly incomes cannot exceed 237.25 euros. In the case of families, the limit varies according to the household composition.

How to ask for support?

You can request support in person or online at the Social Security office website.

To do so, it is necessary to present documents such as the identity card, civil registration certificate, proof of income, and, for foreigners, specific documents that vary according to nationality (for citizens of the European Union, for example, the residence permit issued by the City Council is required).

How is support paid?

The support payment can be made through bank transfer, through Basic Banking Services or postal order.

However, Social Security recommends bank transfer as the fastest and safest method.

RSI aims to ensure a financial safety net for individuals in critical situations, but it must be managed consciously.
