Access less bureaucracy and faster delivery of the declaration with automatic IRS.

Automatic IRS is a simplified income tax declaration system available for taxpayers who meet certain requirements. It works as follows:

What is automatic IRS?

The Automatic IRS is a pre-filled declaration by the Tax Authority (AT) based on existing registered data, such as income, withholdings, and deductible expenses.

Who can access?

Not all taxpayers have access to Automatic IRS. This system mainly applies to:

  • Dependent workers (Category A) and pensioners (Category H);
  • Taxpayers who do not have dependents in joint custody with alternate regulation;
  • Those who do not enjoy complex tax benefits or income from other categories.

How does it work?

  • Access the Finance Portal: You must enter your personal area and confirm if you have Automatic IRS available
  • Check the data: The statement appears already filled in with the values registered by the AT, so you must confirm if the data is correct;
  • Accept or change: You can simply accept the statement and submit it or, if you have additional income or deductions, opt for manual filling.
  • Automatic delivery: If there are no changes, the submission occurs automatically at the end of the legal deadline, ensuring that the IRS is delivered on time.

These are the advantages of automatic IRS:

  • Less errors and less bureaucracy;
  • Faster refund possibility.
  • Ease in submitting the declaration.

If you have more complex income, you can always choose manual IRS to ensure you don't lose deductions or tax benefits.
